FAQs

    • Total DexaFit Scan provides a full-body composition analysis. It measures: Lean muscle mass, Fat mass. Visceral fat (VAT), and Bone density across the entire body. This scan is ideal for tracking fitness progress, metabolic health, and musculoskeletal status.

    • Site-Specific DEXA Scan focuses solely on the hip, spine, and forearm—the key clinical sites for diagnosing osteopenia and osteoporosis. This scan is recommended when assessing fracture risk or establishing a medical baseline for bone loss.

  • Each program is tailored to a specific stage of bone health and muscle resilience:

    • BoneSpan™ (Annual): Best for adults 30+ who want to prevent bone loss, especially after weight loss or during GLP-1 medication use.

    • BoneBuilder (6-Month): Designed for those with early signs of osteopenia, mild bone or muscle decline, or family history of osteoporosis.

    • BoneBuilder+ (12-Month): A full-scale intervention for individuals with osteoporosis, postmenopausal bone loss, or rapid bone decline. Includes enhanced labs, consults, and ongoing coaching support.

  • The CTX (C-terminal telopeptide) urine test measures the rate of bone resorption—how quickly your body is breaking down bone. It's one of the most sensitive tools to detect early bone loss, especially in osteopenia and osteoporosis cases, even before major changes show up on a DEXA scan.

  • Our Core Lab panel checks essential markers that influence bone health:

    • Vitamin D (crucial for calcium absorption)

    • Calcium (a structural bone mineral)

    • Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) (regulates calcium levels)

This panel helps us understand your metabolic bone health and how well your body supports bone density and muscle strength.

  • Advanced Lab Panels go deeper and are used in our more comprehensive programs. They assess:

    • Hormonal health (e.g., estrogen, testosterone, thyroid)

    • Inflammation markers (e.g., hsCRP)

    • Bone turnover markers beyond CTX

These are vital for clients with complex conditions like osteoporosis, hormonal imbalance, or those not responding well to standard therapies.

  • Each clinical consultation includes a 1-on-1 session with an expert who:

    • Reviews your DEXA scans and lab results

    • Explains your current bone and muscle status

    • Builds a roadmap tailored to your goals

    • Recommends testing frequency, lifestyle strategies, or supplements

It’s your chance to ask questions and get personalized guidance, not just a generic report.

  • This is a written, client-friendly summary of your full evaluation—scans, labs, trends, and expert recommendations. It includes:

    • Key takeaways

    • Areas of concern (e.g., early osteopenia)

    • Next steps to protect and strengthen your musculoskeletal health

  • Included in select programs, this protocol provides:

    • Expert-recommended supplements tailored to your lab results

    • Dosing plans for Vitamin D, K2, magnesium, calcium, and more

    • Adjustments based on progress or follow-up labs

The goal is to give you targeted bone support without guessing.

  • These are downloadable resources to guide your at-home routines:

    • Weight-bearing exercise routines for bone density

    • Resistance training for lean muscle mass

    • Bone-supportive meal templates

They’re built to help you act on your results and stay consistent.

  • For clients who need more accountability, our Concierge-level support offers:

    • Monthly health coach check-ins

    • Progress tracking tools

    • Secure messaging access for ongoing questions

    • Lifestyle tweaks for better bone & muscle outcomes

This layer is perfect for high-risk individuals or those needing motivation and structure.

"Falls are the number one cause of death from trauma in adults over 65 — and it’s not the fall, it’s the fracture that does the damage. Bone density is a critical predictor of longevity, independence, and quality of life."
Dr. Peter Attia, MD, Longevity Physician & Author of Outlive
"During menopause, women can lose up to 20% of their bone density — and most don’t even know it’s happening. Osteoporosis doesn’t start with a fracture; it starts with prevention that too often gets missed."
— Dr. Mary Claire Haver, OB/GYN & Founder of The Galveston Diet
